Your software did not update after the November 2022 rate change
National Insurance rates changed on 6 November 2022.
You might need to make a correction if both of the following are true:
- you paid your employee on or after 6 November 2022
- your payroll software had not updated to the new National Insurance rate when you made the payment

If your payroll software updated after 6 November 2022 but before you made your next payment, you do not need to do anything.
