Les Philpott
Biography
Les Philpott was appointed as the NIO Lead Non-Executive in October 2020. He is a Chartered Accountant by profession and formerly held the role of Chief Executive at the Office for Nuclear Regulation. Prior to that he held senior roles in the Health and Safety Executive.
He has been a member of the NEBOSH Board since 2017, which has included chairing the Group Audit and Risk Committee. He also holds non-executive appointments on the Mid-Cheshire NHS Trust, Benenden Healthcare Society and chairs the Board of the Government Actuary’s Department.
