Biography
Hannah Woodhouse started her role as Regional Director for South West in September 2022.
Before her appointment she was the Regional Schools Commissioner for South-West England.
Earlier in her career, she also worked in schools policy and practice for:
- the Department for Education
- local government
- Wales
- New Zealand
Regional Director for South West
The Regional Director for South West is responsible for working locally across children’s social care, SEND, schools and area-based programmes to improve outcomes for children, families and learners. They are responsible for making decisions in the following local authorities:
- Bath and North East Somerset
- Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole
- Bristol, City of
- Cornwall
- Devon
- Dorset
- Gloucestershire
- Isles Of Scilly
- North Somerset
- Plymouth
- Somerset
- South Gloucestershire
- Swindon
- Torbay
- Wiltshire
