The Plant Varieties and Seeds Tribunal (PVST) makes legally binding decisions about national listing of:

  • new varieties of plants
  • UK plant variety rights
  • certain forestry matters

PVST is a tribunal of the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra).
