After you've claimed

You’ll be told by email or letter:

  • when your application has been received
  • if any information is missing
  • whether your claim is successful
  • the refund amount and when it’ll be paid
  • the reasons for any rejection

When you’ll get the refund

It can take up to 10 weeks to get a decision and a further 2 weeks to receive the refund.

If your claim is rejected

You can appeal by contacting the Refunds Helpline.
